  1. Keflavik Airport is located in the Reykjanes peninsula, about 50 kilometers from Reykjavik city center.

    We have parking solutions to suit everyone. Book online to get the best prices we offer.

  2. We are located on the Reykjanes peninsula about 40 kilometers from Reykjavík City Centre. There are some long term and short term parking options outsite the terminal building. Comfort parking is marked P1 and is positioned right outside the departure hall. Standard parking is marked P3 and is our cheapest option and our Premium parking service is our nicest option. You can use short term parking to drop off or pick up a passenger.

  3. For a relaxed experience, please arrive at the airport 2.5 to 3 hours before your flight. You can save time by checking in via your airline's website or use one of our self check-In kiosks that are conveniently located in our check-in hall and are available 24/7. You can also use our check-in desks where our friendly staff can assist you with your check-in and luggage.

    By using the BagBee service, you can check in your luggage before arriving at the airport. This allows you to save time and head straight to security screening once you arrive at the airport.

  4. Start by scanning your boarding pass at the automatic gate. If you have liquid or prohibited items in your carry on you can use our designated area to dispose of it before you reach security.

    Please familiarize yourself with security regulations before your journey.

  5. Duty Free Iceland operates three stores within Keflavík International Airport. Our main categories are: Icelandic and international cosmetics, sweets, tobacco, wine & and spirits. Everything is tax and duty-free.

  6. Keflavík Airport offers a variety of restaurants and bars at tax and duty-free prices.

    Here are some highlights: Bakað: Pizzas, sandwiches, pastries, and healthy juices,Hjá Höllu: Wood oven pizza restaurant, Jómfrúin: Danish Smørrebrød, Sbarro: Freshly baked pizzas, pasta, and breakfast and many more. Remember to enjoy a meal while waiting for your flight.

    Bæjarins Bestu offers delicious hot dogs and drinks. Some people call this the Icelandic dish. Bæjarins Bestu is located at three locations at Keflavík Airport.

    Hjá Höllu restaurant offers healthy food made from scratch using high-quality ingredients. Items on the menu include oven-baked pizzas, sandwiches, and salads.

    Yuzu, located in the heart of Aðalstræti Food Market. Here, burgers take center stage, infused with delicious Eastern flavors that tantalize your taste buds. Our special breakfast menu features avocado burger, waffles, or mouth-watering pancakes. Yuzu isn’t just a meal – it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

    Elda offers quick service and hot and cold dishes. They provide classic dishes with an Icelandic twist that travelers can take with them.

    Sbarro offers a selection of freshly baked New York pizzas and pasta dishes as well as special breakfast dishes.

    Loksins Café & Bar offers a varied menu with freshly baked handmade pastries, breakfast bowls, salads, fresh ciabatta and tasty hot dishes.

  7. Everything at Keflavik Airport is tax and duty-free. Enjoy duty-free shopping and thus making it much more affordable. Save on products like alcohol, cosmetics, and electronics. Some of the shops at KEF offer authentic Icelandic goods, including clothing, skincare products, and handicrafts. These make for memorable souvenirs or gifts.   8. You can see your gate in time for boarding on one of our many flight information screens. There are large screens in our shopping area where you can get information on your flight and your gate. When it is time you will see the number of your gate and when and where to board. Our A and C gates are for flights within the Schengen area whereas D gates are for non-Schengen (flights to USA and UK for example).
